Encamporees

These weekend trips to a GSWW camp property are held for troops in the fall and spring. The location and dates vary each year.  Fall Encamporee is typically in September/October, and Spring Encamporee in March/April/May. The Encamporee Director will open registration about 6 months ahead of each trip. Depending on which GSWW camp we go to there are scheduled activities such as archery and boating. Occasionally there is an older troop that wants to put on a workshop for the younger scouts. There is one all camp meal (Saturday breakfast) prepared by the Encamporee committee but the rest of the meals are on your own.

This is a troop camping experience: scout-to-adult ratios must be followed, adults must be registered with background checks and have completed the required trainings. Troops may request indoor units which are fully enclosed, though they are limited and not guaranteed. First time campers (such as a Brownie troop) are given priority for the indoor units.
