Resources to support you in taking your troop into the outdoors
We have equipment you can borrow for camping (and other troop activities). These include camping stoves, dutch ovens, pop up canopies, and other tools needed for your adventures. In addition, GSWW maintains an equipment depot of similar items, and requests can be made through this form.
Singing is a key tradition in Girl Scouting. Daisies and adults alike have fond memories of songs from camp. The Cedar & Sound Song Book can help you learn them too. Want help? Scouts and/or adult volunteers can visit your troop for a singalong. Ask in our Facebook group, email us or attend the monthly meeting to get connected.
Honoring a tradition started by Girl Scouts founder Juliette Gordon Low (a.k.a Daisy), adults and teens who volunteer at camps select a “camp name.” These names should not be duplicated; selection is coordinated and confirmed by the camp directors, and a list is maintained here.
