Volunteer Meeting

October 16, 2017

St. Thomas More

6511 176th St. SW, Lynnwood

6:45-8:15 p.m.

Happy October! Trivia: Did you know that Juliette Low was born in October? Yes, but what day? Okay, it was October 31, 1860.  That is a legacy.

Come to the Volunteer Meeting and have your own legacy. Follow the sandwich board signs to the meeting and you will be on the right track.

Things to bring:

  • Checkbook to sign up for Women’s Retreat that will be held January 19-21st at Camp Mcleod. Registrations can be found on www.cedarandsound.com
  • The name, telephone #, and email address of your troop’s Cookie Manager
  • Sign up for “Sing High, Sing Low” event that will be celebrating Juliette Low’s birthday
  • Your curiosity. There will be booths to circulate and get more information about many topics
  • Calendar, so that you can mark down the upcoming events in our council and service unit
  • Nominations for delegates for the annual meeting. Any registered girl scout 14 years and older can represent our Service Unit as a delegate at the Annual Meeting to be held February 3, 2018. Elections to be held at November’s meeting.
  • A reuseable bag to hold all the current information and Volunteer Booklet, a good read.
