Cookie CEO Program:

The Cookie CEO Program of the past has been revamped and made into a two-night weekend retreat. Girls will be matched based on location to a team of three (girls in the same troop CAN work together) with two adult volunteers serving as CEO Counselors This is a great program for girls in troops and IRMs, and gives them a chance to take their cookie sale to the next level. This program is also a great way to engage new girls and introduce them to Girl Scouts and cookie sales in an exciting way. At the retreat, sales and marketing professionals will present on the basics of making a successful sales pitch and presentation. Following these interactive sessions, girls will work together to develop a PowerPoint. Then, following the retreat, the girls will schedule and make their sales pitch to a business (to which will be assigned based on where they live).

Who: Girls in grades 8th through 12th

When: Retreat is Friday, December 13 to Sunday, December 15; Sales Pitches are scheduled by the girls and will take place anytime between January and March

Where: Retreat is at Camp River Ranch

Cost: $25 covers food, transportation, and program supplies

Transportation: Bus transportation from various areas throughout Western Washington will be provided (most likely a north route and a south route to camp – final decision will be based on where the participants are from)
