Cultural Event At Edmonds Community College

Hi there,

We have a really great opportunity for Girl Scouts to be present at a wonderful cultural event at Edmonds Community College on May 3rd at 1pm.  We’ve invited troops and Girls from across the council to participate in this culturally enriching educational opportunity to celebrate American Indian singing, drumming, dancing, and arts and crafts.  All Girls that attend and stop by our booth will get a “Cultural Awareness” patch.

We would love to have a few local volunteers host our information booth and possibly some older girls as well.  Duties include sharing the joy of Girl Scouting with people who stop by and handing out patches to all Girl Scouts who stop by the booth.  It shouldn’t be a long day and it will be a great experience for those who’d like to help out.  Kathy, this is right up your alley if you’d like to help out…wink wink 😉

Community Service

Hello Ladies

I know I have already asked for this but we are really hoping to get a troop to commit to at least one date. We need a Cadette troop or older with two adults who can stay. The troop would provide entertainment (activity or something) for
the length of the meeting. They will be work with children K-6th grade with a potential for a few pre-k. They can earn hours toward the community service bar for their program level. The hours would be from 6-8 or so at Beverly elementary school.
Please let me know as soon as possible.

Welcome to the North Volunteer News & Resources email!

Hello Girl Scout Volunteers,

For the upcoming Girl Scout year, we’re switching to a new model: all your main volunteer news and resources will be packed into this bi-weekly email newsletter. We will primarily focus on regional information, so you’ll get more about what’s most relevant to you. But don’t worry—we’ll still include important council-wide updates, so you won’t miss out on anything. Read more
