Volunteers-in-Training (VITs) will explore the Girl Scout Processes of Girl-Led, Learning by Doing and Cooperative Learning, and will understand how to create and implement a thoughtful program for younger girls. Spring Encamporee at Robbinswold April 20-22

Registration has begun for Spring Encamporee at Robbinswold April 20-22. $50.00 non refundable deposit required. Final payment due March 10th. Come join us for a fun filled weekend on the beach. Troop Cookie Manager


A troop cookie manager’s job is to manage the cookie sale for their troop. This includes attending the Service Unit troop cookie manager training, holding a parent meeting, ordering the troops cookies, selecting booth sites, assigning girls to the booth sales, collecting all monies, reordering cookies, balancing out the sale, ordering rewards, and distributing cookie rewards. Here’s how it works: Join our event, “North Region Online Garage (not) Sale” in the North Region Facebook group! All items posted to this event are free and up for grabs. To claim an item, simply comment, “Taken”. All items will be claimed on a first comment, first serve basis. Unless otherwise stated, we only have one of each item, so make sure you act fast! We will message you at the end of the (not) Sale to coordinate pick up.

Knapsacks of Hope, Silver Award Project

Finding a way to help the homeless kids in the Edmonds School District, as well as help the environment led to the development of “Knapsacks of Hope”.  These girls wanted to help create a renewable  resource that would also help kids. When they learned a lot of the homeless kids have nothing to keep their personal items and treasures in other than plastic grocery sacks or trash bags, they decided to sew reusable knapsacks in fun Read more
