Time to think ahead to Fall Encamporee Sept 28-30, 2018 at Camp Lyle McLeod. Talk with your girls and their parents and then come to the volunteer meeting on Monday April 16th prepared to fill out a registration form and pay the $50.00 non refundable deposit. Sign up ahead for 1, 2 or more hours to serve with us that day
We stand with Respect at the entrance and pass out small American Flags for visitors to place at the graves of their friends and families. Daisies through Ambassadors are welcome as well as adult volunteers! Families and siblings welcome! Free Hotdogs for
volunteers and visitors. This day is a wonderful way to show our gratitude for freedom and teach the girls some flag etiquette!

Teen Dating Violence Workshop
Troop 40011 invites girls level Cadette and older
to join us for a presentation on teen dating violence, and how to avoid it.
Our speaker is Jenny Weiland, who is an educator
and community outreach coordinator for the Domestic
Violence Services of Snohomish County. She will give a 50 minute
presentation, followed by an activity planned by troop 40011. We have room for
up to 50 girls.
Service Unit 245
17th Annual Pinewood Derby
Do your Girl Scouts (grades 4-12) like to build stuff out of wood? Like some problem solving fun? Friendly competition? Like to design objects that go ZOOM?! This is a great activity for a girl and a special adult to work on together over school break and create a car for our SU’s 17th Annual Pinewood Derby on February 10th. It takes at least 6 hours to build a car; more if you are aching to become the next PWD Cool Designer of the Year…..this is what you start with…. Read more
Giving Tree 2017 Service Unit 245
This year, Troop 40011 is running our service unit’s giving tree. Donations will go to the Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County (DVS). DVS is a non-profit organization serving Snohomish County since 1976. It is the only program in Snohomish County providing emergency shelter and comprehensive, confidential services to all victims of domestic abuse. Domestic Violence Services provides individual and community awareness programs. Read more

Take time for yourself and make new friends. Learn new songs (or teach others your favorites), play games or make crafts. We also eat very well. Bring a mystery novel to do a book exchange.
