Do any of your Scouts need Program Aid Training or Volunteer In Training done? Mark your calendar for May 26th at the Everett Office, time to be announced.
If you are interested please contact Kathy Jackson. If there is a conflict please let her now that you are in need but can’t make the date. If there are enough inquiries, there may be a chance of another date could be set in the future.
Time to think ahead to Fall Encamporee Sept 28-30, 2018 at Camp Lyle McLeod. Talk with your girls and their parents and then come to the volunteer meeting on Monday April 16th prepared to fill out a registration form and pay the $50.00 non refundable deposit. Do your Girl Scouts (grades 4-12) like to build stuff out of wood? Like some problem solving fun? Friendly competition? Like to design objects that go ZOOM?! This is a great activity for a girl and a special adult to work on together over school break and create a car for our SU’s 17th Annual Pinewood Derby on February 11th. It takes at least 6 hours to build a car; more if you are aching to become the next PWD Cool Designer of the Year…..this is what you start with….

Since 1926, Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the world have spent February 22nd thinking of each other and expressing thanks and appreciation for Scouting around the world. February 22nd was chosen as it was the birthday of both Lord Baden-Powell (who founded Boy Scouts) and his wife, Olave Baden-Powell, who was the World Chief Guide (for Girl Guiding & Girl Scouting). On World Thinking Day, girls from around the world learn about other cultures and (in most countries) make small donations (traditionally pennies) to the Girl Scouting/Guiding movement. Read more
