2017 Giving Tree

Giving Tree 2017 Service Unit 245

This year, Troop 40011 is running our service unit’s giving tree. Donations will go to the Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County (DVS). DVS is a non-profit organization serving Snohomish County since 1976. It is the only program in Snohomish County providing emergency shelter and comprehensive, confidential services to all victims of domestic abuse. Domestic Violence Services provides individual and community awareness programs.

We need our service unit members to help:

All girl scouts in Service Unit 245 are invited to help others this holiday season by collecting and donating new unwrapped gifts for the Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County. Donations will be collected and delivered by Troop 40011 to the DVS.

What Items Are Needed:

  • Socks/underwear
  • Craft/Art supplies, journals, sketch pads
  •  Phone chargers/ USB cords
  • Headphones/earbuds
  • Wallets
  • Graphic t-shirts or Hoodies
  • Basketballs, soccer balls, foot balls, etc.
  • Young Adult books, adult coloring books
  • Jewelry/watches
  • Pajamas/robes/slippers
  • Men’s toiletry sets or make-up/cosmetic bags
