Can you believe it’s mid-August already?

Can you believe it’s mid-August already?!  It’s almost time to resume regular troop meetings again.  Have you considered participating in the Fall Product Sale this year?
It’s quick and easy and your troop will make $1.00 per each item sold.  And, not every girl needs to participate in the sale.  They may choose to sell or not sell.  Even if just one girl is interested, that’s fine, she may sell fall product.  Please see the attached flyer for more details.

I am the Fall Product Manager this year.  I will need to know within the next few  weeks if your troop wishes to participate or not.  Please let me know as soon as you decide, so I can get the materials we need from Council.   This process looks pretty easy and pretty profitable.

Red Cross Course

Passed From: Heather Fitzpatrick
Date: Mon, Jun 23, 2014 at 1:38 PM

Hi there,
My troop is interested in taking the following Red Cross course. Unfortunately, it’s offered on a pretty limited basis – and we would easily fill the class. So … I’m looking into whether we could host a custom training for our troop. With about 10 girls, we’d be paying a premium for convenience … so we are wondering whether there would be sufficient interest from other Cadette/Senior/Ambassador troops who might have girls who would like to join us.
It’s $129/person, and we would be looking to host it locally (in Edmonds). We’re thinking of Monday, August 25, since so many families have weekend conflicts. It’s recommended for kids 11 and up.
Note that this isn’t the normal babysitting class. It’s the version that includes First Aid/CPR/AED certification. There’s an online learning component that must be satisfied prior to starting the class.
Do you know of any troops/individual Scouts who might be interested?
If so, could you have them contact me as soon as possible via email at
Thanks so much!

Do you have contact with any scout groups that may want to help with the July 4th parade in Everett?  They are looking for between 5 and 10 people, in groups of two or three, to pull wagons along the parade route to give water to the participants.

Please let me know if you have any contacts for this position.

Thank you.
